Robert M. Rogers, FAIA Principal

Rob Rogers created Rogers Marvel Architects (RMA) with Jonathan Marvel in 1992. They lead a multidisciplinary practice of 37 architects, landscape architects, urban designers, preservationists, and product designers dedicated to critical design thinking in the public and private realms. With a diverse range of projects, from parks and public spaces to furniture and products with sister company TRUCK, the practice combines innovative materials, spaces, and forms with a commitment to the improvement of the communities in which it works. RMA’s design uncovers essential qualities of existing sites to help inform the final project, with particular attention to light, circulation and materiality.

Rogers Marvel Architects has won many national, state, and city design awards. As the winner of the 2006 AIA Medal of Honor, New York Chapter’s highest honor, RMA is recognized “for their steadfast commitment to design excellence on all scales ranging from furniture to building to planning and landscape.”
